Arabic Dance is...
Traditionally danced by women for women, an ancient and beautiful dance  which suits all ages, shapes and sizes, celebrating femininity in all its myriad forms.

A friendly and informal club  for women of all ages on the Isle of Man to get together and share their enjoyment of Arabic Dance in a supportive environment.
We arrange...
Regular Arabic Dance classes
Workshops with leading UK dance teachers looking at different styles of Arabic Dance*
Social events such as Haflas (dance parties) bazaars, meals etc.
Workshops on jewellery, costume, make-up or other Arabic Dance related subjects
Occasional trips to UK for shows workshops etc.  
 

* We are grateful for the support of the Isle of Man Arts Council who underwrite many of our workshops.

A discounted rate on workshops and many other events
Vouchers for money off items in the Hediya bazaar
Free loan of club props, magazines and videos
The fellowship of a group of like-minded women
 
 
How to join...
An annual membership fee is payable at the AGM. This covers running costs and enables us to book workshops and to buy music, videos etc. for club use. Events are then charged separately. The club is non-profit; all funds are used for the benefit of members.
